Our Business Welcome. St. Aubin is dedicated to providing its customers large scale trains and accessories at the best possible pricing, while offering the most convenient shopping venues in the hobby, and the friendliest, most competent customer service. We operate a retail store in Woodstock, Illinois (near Chicago), and have a online webstore. We also exhibit coast to coast at numerous train shows each year. And, of course, we maintain this on-line web store. At each of these venues our first goal is to reinforce your continued satisfaction with us and with the large scale train hobby. Our stores are staffed with experienced, knowledgeable folks who love the hobby just like we hope that you will. We treat all of our employees with the same dignity and respect that we believe they will pass on to our customers be it face to face, or on the telephone. You can expect to develop a long term relationship with your favorite St. Aubin Sales Representative. We strive to keep them on board, just like we want to keep you on board. (We edit the chains and shackles from their photographs :-) At or store you will find a community of enthusiasts creating a level of hobby enjoyment that goes well beyond the typical hobby shop – customer experience. Our at-store special events have become a gathering of friends, manufacturers, and staff in an environment of non-stop fun. Our train show exhibits amount to nothing less than establishing a complete store, for a few days, hundreds of miles away from our normal presence. The process is exhausting for the show staff, but the rewards come from shaking hands with loyal customers we have previously known only as name and a phone voice. Our show special pricing is always worthy of a look. Paraphrasing a line from the character Phillip Marlow, “It was the kind of look you could feel in your hip pocket.” Our web site and on-line store will always be a work in progress. They exist in an environment that becomes increasingly capable every time a more powerful computer chip is developed. Through our Team Large Scale alliance we intend to lead this hobby in web site content and satisfaction. Yes, that journey is in its first steps, but those steps now have direction and purpose.
